3-16-18 ('08 Diff Replacement)

Back in 2016 the tripod joints in the '08 essentially exploded during a while John left the pits at Camden.  That day John and Skyler were making real progress getting the tune corrected on that car.  At that point I made the decision that it was time to remove the spool and go back to the original differential.  Based on what I had heard about the issues with the original diff installation I did some design work and had new carrier plates cut using water jet.  That project set on the shelf for a long time, but recently I picked the project back up.  I can now report that the '08 car is back together and ready to run again.  Here are some pictures:
