Tacked on one set of caliper mounts. I will add a sheet metal stiffening rib between the two mounts. The more I work on these cars the better I get at finding ways to avoid work. Case in point, for these mounts I found some metric caps screws at McMaster-Carr and then found the appropriate steel tubing with an ID that is a press fit onto the head of the cap screw. A little welding and it's finished, no lathe work necessary.
A few more nights of fabrication and I should be able to do all the final welding on the uprights.
